It is strange how what would seem to be good news, can be exciting and depressing all at the same time.
This can be said of the news that the author of Elric and Multiverse books, Michael Moorcock will be working on a piece for Dr Who.
That is the exciting news, to think of somebody like him could be getting his hands on the scripts of the most popular BBC science fiction series around.
However, it is not all good, as Michael Moorcroft will not be writing any scripts at all. In fact according to the writers own website, multiverse.org, he is in advanced talks with the Dr Who producers on writing a novel based on the Dr Who character.
If all goes according to plan, the new book could be out in time for Christmas 2010!
