When the third series or miniseries of Torchwood, Children of Earth ended, it has to be said that there were more loose ends than anything else and it looked as if there would be nowhere for the series to go.
However, fans can start breathing once more as it looks that a fourth series could be on its way and the news comes from the very top.
According to Russell T Davies, the UK was hit hard by the recession and as such spending at the BBC had to be carefully monitored, but as if looks like the worst of over then the prospect of a fourth series is a real possibility.
Of course, this would mean some serious clearing up at the house of Torchwood, will it ever be the same again!
