Now the story of the Game of Thrones is loosely based on the work of George RR Martin’s novels in the Song of Ice and Fire series.
Yet this TV pilot, is apparently gearing up to start shooting or already has started in Northern Ireland, despite the fact that this is sort of secret and at the same time fans of George RR Martin have been visiting the site in northern Ireland to meet the writer.
HBO have put a lot into this pilot, so it should be safe to say that they would be taking up the series as they have done with many other projects.
This is one of those projects where the reaction of the fan is going to have a lot to do with the success of the show; if HBO can get it right, then they will have a winner!
