These days there are plenty of science fictions shows to please even the most serious of sci-fi fan. However, back in the 1970’s this was not the case as Dr Who was the number one sci-fi until along came, Blakes 7.
This was a combination of different stories all mashed together, to form an enjoyable series.
It followed a group of rebels who fought to survive despite being hunted down by the evil empire, sounds familiar somehow!
It was cheesy and some of the sets left a lot to the imagination, but it was sci-fi and that was all that mattered.
Now Blakes 7 like so many shows from the era is to be remade, this time it is Sky One in the driving seat, although at this stage they are just sifting through scripts.
