It has been some twelve years since the futuristic science fiction film Gattaca hit the big screens. The film starred Ethan Hawke who played the part of a normal man living in a genetically perfect world.

Now it seems that this storyline could be heading for TV, following Denis Leary’s Apostle Films acquiring the TV rights to the story.

It is clear that there is a place for this type of series, especially with the growth in the Law and Order and NCIS series and spin offs.

But being set in the near future puts a slight edge on the show and will off course attracts interest from fans of both genres, which for the advertisers is a dream come true.

Of course, the series has to be made first and made well!
