It seems like the up, coming Avengers film has been in the pipeline for what would seem an age, and yet still there is no solid movement on exactly when work will even begin on this project.
A shadow of doubt has been cast of the project with the news that Iron Man and Iron Man 2 director Jon Favreau has stated that he will not be getting behind the camera for the Avengers film, but that is not to say that the film will be not be made.
The Avengers will be a film that ties Iron Man, Thor (Due for release 2011) and Captain America (Due to be released 2011). However, with a new director needed the 2012 release date for the Avengers looks very close.
