It seems that the film that we think will blow the lid off Battlestar Galactica, “The Plan” is not likely to be seen on TV anytime soon, this effectively means that the film will be out on DVD way before the fans get to see it on TV.
This could be considered to be SyFy’s very own plan to bolster DVD sales on the way up to the festive season and therefore bring in some revenues. After all the Caprica DVD only brought in $5 million in sales.
The Plan follows the timeline that we already know that leads up to the attack on the colonies, but this time it is viewed from a Cylon point of view, this is supposed to turn everything that we think we know about Battlestar Galactica on its head.
The DVD is released in the US on the 27th October 2009.
