For some time there have been rumours surrounding the production of the Battlestar Galactica prequel Caprica.
First up is the sales of the DVD this amounted to less than $5 million and then when production stopped, well that just sent all the wrong signals out to the fans and the media.
So what’s happening with Caprica now?
According to SyFy the channel has no plans what so ever to cancel the show, in fact it is already scheduled to be included in the channels new year programming. Caprica will be shown on the 22nd January 2010.
So why the break in production?
The producers insist that the break in production is so that they can take stock of what has occurred during the first ten episodes and see where they take it from there. You would have thought that would have already have been planned out.
