The longest running kids show on the BBC, Blue Peter is launching a competition where fans of Dr Who have been asked to design a new console for the TARDIS, the doctor’s time machine.
The competition is open to all children aged between six and twelve, they have been asked to design a new control console, which is the device that sits in the middle of the TARDIS and from where the doctor controls it.
The viewers are asked to incorporate some household items into the design, the winner will be chosen by the new doctor, Matt Smith and this new console will appear in one of the shows episodes.
There will be three different age groups; the winners of each group will get the chance to meet the cast and crew on the Dr Who set.
