The producers of Splice have just released the films first trailer and pretty scary it is too. The story follows two stars of the genetic engineering industry, a business that has grown over the years to the point where it goes beyond the normal work of looking for cures for illness.
The main characters are played by Sarah Polley and Adrien Brody, it is their work in the field that has really move on from finding cures to creating new life. They do this by splicing different types of DNA together and in the process create new life forms.
Finally as with all experiments the pair take their science to another level by introducing the human element into the mix. From this point, there is no stopping the creation of new life.
