The day that Stargate fans in the US have been waiting for has been and gone and so it is time to analyze the premiere of Stargate Universe, of course here in the UK we have to wait until tomorrow evening at 8pm for out chance to see the latest edition of Stargate.
The US television market is a very diverse one and in this will reflect in the viewing figures, but it has to be said that the premiere of this new series out shown the premieres of SG-1 season 10, Stargate Atlantis seasons 3,4 and 5.
According to the SyFy channel Stargate Universe pulled in 2.3 million viewers, this even beat the channels latest success story Dollhouse which pulled in 2.1 million viewers.
This new series is said to take Stargate off in another direction we shall have to wait and see.
