It has been a while since a good Stephen King adaption appeared on the TV or big screen, fans do not really mind, so imagine the interest when according to industry news source Variety, which E1 Entertainment is to produce a thirteen part series based on The Colorado Kid!
The series will be known as Haven, and unlike the book, the story takes place in a creepy little town where cursed people live as normal a life as possible, but for some reason things start to go wrong then it is down to the FBI to get to the bottom of things.
The story of Haven is only very slimly based on the story of The Colorado Kid, which takes place on an island off Maine and investigates an unusual murder.
Haven has to hit the spot though, because it is going to be a long haul of thirteen, one hour episodes.
