It was only around three months ago when we were talking about the cancellation of the great ITV1 show, Primeval it turns out that shows like this are just too expensive to make and what with ITV struggling with falling advertising revenues.
But now in what can only be described as a last minute deal, the series that brought dinosaurs and other creatures into modern day London has been recommissioned and not for just one more go either, the show has been given two series made up of thirteen episodes.
The reason why the programme has been given a second chance is because of the deal done between ITV1 and the digital broadcaster UKTV channel Watch.
Watch already show Dr Who and Torchwood, so it seems that Primeval would be natural addition to its schedule.
