The second series of Sanctuary starring Amanda Tapping is promising to have more exciting storylines that includes a time travel episode where all the characters travel into the future.
There will also be more creatures and some of the most famous events in world history will be explained as being part of the work that the sanctuary does.
The programme makers have not missed out the current success of vampire stories and there will be an on going storyline that follows this up and with some surprising historical characters that have been affected by the vampire race.
One final thing is the revelation that there are other sanctuaries in existence and operating throughout the world. It looks as if that Sanctuary the series, is growing up in the second season!
