It started off so promising and for the fan of science fiction yet another series to get excited about, but for Defying Gravity it seems that the trip back down to earth is imminent.
After only eight episodes had been shown it seems that the broadcaster ABC has seen enough and called time on the series that is still being filmed.
The original plan was to have thirteen episodes, but the last part was shown on the 13th September and it was announced by ABC that it would be the season finale and although there has been no official confirmation, it looks as if this is another show to fail.
In Canada, the series has been moved but it would seem that all of the episodes will be shown and for everyone else it is a matter of waiting for the DVD set.
