At one time, it seemed that the deal had been done to get Nicolas Cage into a role on The Green Hornet; it turns out that this may not be happening after all.
It is not as if the actor had turned it down flat either, he was reported to be in negotiations with the film’s producers over taking role that would have seen him playing a villain or even the main villain who battles against the Green Hornet played by Seth Rogen.
With filming already started, the absence of Nicolas Cage was put down to the fact that no deal had been made between the actor and producers, but clearly, there was more to this.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Nicolas Cage, Columbia Pictures and the Studio have failed to reach any sort of deal and therefore another actor is being sort.
