For anyone that does not know 2012 is not just the year when the Olympics go to London, this is the year that the world ends, according to a Mayan prediction.
Therefore, it is only natural that we get film that is more than the average disaster film and besides is this a film or a prediction?
Effects are going to play a major part in this film with as we follow the main character John Cusack as he works with government using ancient prophecies to try to save mankind from total wipeout.
In the latest trailer, we see your average disaster film stuff, like the hero trying to escape from a crashing plane in a Bentley, as you do. Fans of the car may not like the outcome but the hero gets to continue on his way.
Fortunately, the film is released on the 13th November 2009 and not 2012!
