The Green Hornet seems to have been around for a while now and although filming has been taking place the release has been pushed back by a massive five months.
Initially the Green Hornet was expected to have been premiered on the 7th July 2010, but at the moment the new release date is set for the 17th December 2010 now that is a long way to go before we get to see any clips etc.
At first, the producers gave no reasons for the delay, but delaying a film launch by five months is not something that can be left. It turns out that the main issue is the turnover in coast members, this clearly causes a delay.
However, there could be a silver lining for the film, as a summer launch would mean competing with the year’s top films, whereas a December release is much easier on the film as there is less competition around.
