The Fan Expo Canada event at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, is regarded as one of the top three science fiction events in North America, in fact it is actually rated as being the third, but who is counting.
By now the event would have been going through its closing stages, but as of yet there is not many details coming out, unlike the recent Comic Con event it seems that PR and marketing is not at the top of the preference list here.
What we do know is that there were some serious science fiction talent at the event, these included, actors Leonard Nimoy, Bruce Campbell, Lou Ferrigno, Linda Hamilton, Beau Bridges, Tony Curtis and the German horror movie Udo Kier.
The event started off as comic show in 1995, but as science fiction grows so the events take on a different meaning.
