Sony and Marvel have announced a new digital service that will allow owner of the Playstation portable gaming device to download copies of Marvel comics.
This service will be starting in December following a deal between Marvel Entertainment and the electronics firm.
Users will be able to access Marvel’s top comic brands such as the Fantastic Four, Spider-Man and X-Men; this will of course be a paid service available in the UK and US; however, prices and precise details of the service are yet to be announced.
According to the director of Playstation Network Operations, Eric Lempel, users of these service will be able to read the comic either frame by frame or by the page, it is a matter of choice for the user.
Marvel has not made it clear which comics will be available, but it is believed to be in the hundreds.
