Sometimes it is hard for actors that have played characters in long running series to get out of the rut that they have found themselves in, this is especially true for those involved in science fiction.
One such actor that has not had a problem in moving genres is LeVar Burton, most people will remember him has Commander Geordi La Forge in Star Trek TNG, but he has been lucky enough to find various work across the entire range.
However, science fiction beckons once for him by joining the all star cast of the sixth DC Universe animated film, Superman/Batman: Public Enemies.
LeVar Burton will be playing the role of Black Lightning, who is supposedly the first black super hero to hit the screens, unless there is another out there, which of course there are.
