John Carter of Mars sounds as if it might be some futuristic story of living on the red planet. After all this is a film by Disney but these days that does not necessarily mean that this is going to be a kid’s film.
So far Taylor Kitsch, Lynn Collins and Willem Dafoe are reported to have signed up for this film and recent news claims that there have been some additional sign ups for the film too. These are Samantha Morton, Dominic West and Polly Walker.
The film is about power and who gets to rule the red planet. As usual, that is not going to a push over and that would not make for a good film either.
The story is based on the science fiction epic by Edgar Rice Burroughs and will begin filming next year.
