When the second X Files film was completed in 2008, it was wondered if Mulder and Scully would team up again!
However, surprisingly despite saying that she would not do another film, Gillian Anderson has confirmed that she will be playing Dana Scully once more in a third outing for the duo.
It was not that long ago when she was complaining about being typecast, but being part of team that have worked do long on the TV series and in two films as well, there has to be some sort of bond there that is more like family.
So according to Gillian Anderson work on the third film is expected to start in 2012, which seems a bit of a while away, can fans wait that long?
