Something to look forward to in 2011 is Battle: Los Angeles, the basic story is nothing new, aliens invade earth or rather America and it is up to the most unlikely people lead the fight back.
This film actually focuses on a staff sergeant in the US Marines played by Aaron Eckhart and his platoons fight against the invaders on the streets of Los Angeles, throw in the father of a missing boy played by Michael Pena and a vet played by Bridget Moynahan then that is the basis for a story.
According to Columbia Pictures, the initial release date for film has been set for the 18th February 2011, but that is just a provisional date.
The script for Battle: Los Angeles has been written by Chris Bertolini & Scott Silver and will be directed by Jonathan Liebesman.
