David Allen
It seems that Spider-Man will be living on for some time into the future as writer James Vanderbilt being hired to write the scripts for Spider-Man 5 and 6, according to the industry magazine Variety.
The writer actually did some work on the next Spider-Man film the fourth in the series, the fourth film will set up the fifth and sixth film in this highly successful film franchise.
The initial plan seemed to be for Spider-Man 4 and 5 to be a single feature running back to back, however after consultations with the director Sami Raimi and leading actors Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst the fourth film will become just a one off story.
This will probably mean five and six will be the single feature as blending two films together add an interesting touch to the entertainment value of the series.
