On the back of the highly successful TV series, it seems that the big screen could be the next step for Battlestar Galactica, but instead of following the route that the recent series took, the film would directly link to the original 70’s series.
The director Bryan Singer has once again been lined up to direct the film, back in 2001 he almost pulled if off for Universal in 2001, but the storyline is that of a sneaky alien attack on earth and at the time sneaky attacks were not that popular.
Universal have been pondering this film for almost ten years and they have witnessed a hugely successful series come and go in that time too.
It seems that if this film does go ahead then it is highly possible that it will follow a different route to the TV series.
