For every writer the winning of an award for a piece of work is recognition from the industry or readers that the book has passed the test by impressing them

This is what happened to the Regina writer, Edward Willet as his book “Marseguro” a story of genetically altered humans who for seventy years have survived on the planet Marseguro as amphibians.

However, on Earth, there is a growing hatred for these water creatures and soon holy soldiers from the Body Purified movement are dispatched to rid the universe of the amphibians once and for all.

It seems that there could be some dispute as to how the award presented, apparently, this award was presented to the writer in more quieter sub event of the convention where the award is handed over by a cigar smoking puppet.
