Publisher Dynamite Entertainment has secured the rights to produce and distribute a comic series based on the hugely successful Stargate film and TV series.
The firm has not been hanging around either already in the pipeline are three versions of the comic, one for each of the series, Stargate, Stargate Atlantis and the latest addition Stargate Universe.
There have been Stargate comics in the past by Avatar Press in 1996 and more recently in 2007. However, this time it would seem that this new publisher is going to go for it big style, with a budget comic being released to promote all three of the new comic releases.
These are exiting times for Stargate fans, who are patiently waiting for the release of Stargate Universe and the up and coming films from the series too.
