Most of the heroes that we see on the big screen are from the Marvel stable of comic characters, until now the most famous characters have been Batman and Superman, from the rival comic series DC Comics that made it to film.
However, this is all about to change with the DC Comic character the Green Lantern coming out soon; this is just the start of a wide range of new and exciting characters to make it to film.
The characters from DC Comics seem to be very different to those from Marvel, they appear to targeted to a different age group, but that too is about to change with the hiring of new writers, the characters and stories are about to get a makeover.
A new version of Flash is next in the pipeline, but after that is anyone’s guess, hero films and TV are big business these days.
