The thing about writing a bestselling novel that has been turned into films and is regarded as a warning to all freethinking people, is that sometimes what may appear to be fiction can often turn out to be closer to the truth.

Take George Orwell’s “1984” and “Animal Farm” these tell us of how leaders cling on to power no matter what the cost is to the individual.

These books are popular even today, with many copies being downloaded onto the e-reader Kindle from Amazon.

However, imagine switching the device on only to find that the copy has been remotely deleted! Is it a technical error or something more sinister?

Then you hear that all copies of these books from all Kindle users have been deleted, now that is a reason to think “Big Brother” is watching you.

It turns out that Amazon think that the copies of the book were illegal and therefore deleted them and refunded the money.
