It seems that there could be some legal issues over who actually created “Lost” the very successful ABC series, that is about to come to end.
It turns out that TV producer Anthony Spinner who produced “The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and Baretta, wrote a script in back in 1977, it was even called “Lost” and the coincidences do not end there.
The pilot script features a plane heading to LA, crashes on tropical island, a doctor leads the survivors, man with survival skills wants to make the island home and a lot more, according to court documents filed by the producer.
There was an attempt to file the papers a couple of years ago, but at that time, the case was thrown out of court, because there was some sort of procedural issue.
Cases like this appear all of the time, but rarely do they achieve any success.
