David Allen
He may have died in 1979, but John “The Duke” Wayne is set to make a return to the screen in a film that was finished in 1984!
This footage of the legend was obviously shot before his death, but the film “Thunder Riders of the Golden West” that was made by the former actor and long time friend of John Wayne was never released.
The film is not the Dukes final performance, but it will be his final film by a long way and will be an interesting look at the actor who starred in countless movies mainly western orientated.
The film follows the life and times of truck driving cowboys who search the atomic wastelands after the bombs had been tested for gold and anything else of value.
Thunder Riders of the Golden West, will be released on DVD later in the year.
