The actor normally associated with bring smooth, Nigel Havers, is to appear in the Doctor Who spin off created for kids, The Sarah Jane Adventures, as a man that is set to change to the way that viewers have seen the show in previous series.
He will be appearing in two episodes of the new series as the love interest of the main character and former Dr Who assistant Sarah Jane Smith (Elisabeth Sladen).
In fact, male characters seem to be the theme of the latest series, with Brian Miller, Elisabeth Sladen’s real world husband joining the cast in a role that the producers are calling “Pivotal” as he will be in conflict with Sarah Jane.
However, the main character joining the series will be David Tennant who will be appearing in a two episode story as the Doctor.
