Good news – Fox has agreed to allow Warner Bros to release Watchmen on schedule.
It comes after Fox won a recent court case in which the company claimed some of the original rights to Watchmen.
The ruling came only months before Warner Bros was due to release their own blockbuster version of the popular and brilliant Alan Moore/Dave Gibbons graphic novel.
However, the Watchmen movie will now be released in the US on March 6th 2009 as originally planned.
There are no details at present as to what arrangements Fox and Warner Bros may have made together, but for a project of this size and a guaranteed blockbuster, it wouldn’t have made any sense to anybody to have cancelled or delayed screening.
