Has anyone picked this up yet, I couldn't find it via the search function.

What are you views on it? It seems to have great reviews so far!

Also related, has anyone ever attempted the adventure of leaving a book in, say, a library and corresponding with the finder? I find it so immensely intriguing and am thinking of trying it in my University library!

Iv heard of it. Abrams did not write it tho. Hell, he didn't even write his own films. I believe its based on an idea of his. But the novel itself is written by the author of 'alive in necropolis'. Don't remember his name.
i would like to check it out. Depends though on how it's written. I'm tired of first person narratives. This might be one of those, idk. But i know the guys other book i mentioned has always seemed worth checking out.

Doug Durst I believe is the name, I guess I fell for the initial hype of the JJ Abrams thing, but the idea was conceived by Abrams anyway!

Have you ever tried a marginalia conversation with anyone?

I'v seen it. Seems like a big production. Saw it on sale for $20 at Chapters. I believe that must be on sale. I'd be very unlikely to buy it full price (remember that James Fry modern Jesus book? $50.....fifty dollars!!!!!) I'm sure a book that looks like S is the same.

But it sounds interesting. Could be something different for me. Iv heard good things about Doug Durst.
