I sincerely apologize if this is a common question. I would like to post some of what I'm writing, with an inevitable goal of publication, on this forum for critique. The only problem is I'm worried publishers won't take the material once it's been published publicly on the internet. Yes, I can delete my posts and erase the information. But is this fool-proof? Should I be cautious?

You can post so much of something before it's considered 'published' online. The amount you'd post for crits here wouldn't be enough. So don't panic.

I've seen others say 10% of a work is the cut-off. It would take some effort to post over 10% of a novel here (possible, though)
