I've been a member for a while now and I can tell you that very rarely will anyone here be hostile toward you. They will be critical but only in a constructive way.

Then things shall be alright then .

I am optimistic though next year will be better and my mood will improve. I do hope i will be able to start a draft of my story around spring next year too. I honestly have high hopes for the future of this story, especially since i am satisfied with this current plan i am working on. It will do my rather wacky sci-fi premise justice i hope (won't spoil what that is though, but its berzerk).

People with photographic memories are considered gifted. However they make terrible writers. They can think of 100 different ways to put something down in writing. They stall and get writers block. You seem to be thinking of the best way to put each word down. I know you have some great ideas. Just write the image down. Write,write and write without fear of being judged. You are the center of the universe, your skills are so unique that you have to give people permission to understand and judged them.

THAT IS MY PROBLEM WHEN IT COMES TO WRITING! Finally someone got it!

I could just write down whatever i picture rather than try to make it uber perfect, but i have a fear of failure i need to get over. I try to keep myself from getting negative in my posts but its hard for me at the moment.

When i used to write and feel comfortable i didn't do this in my mind at all. I guess i am trying too hard to be perfect when i haven't even attended a creative writing course in my life as of yet. Plus a crappy draft would pave the way for something awesome in the future.
