I liked this. I've heard some of this before from other authors. Each author seems to have a slightly different experience and while many of these myths coincide and overlap there seem to be enough variance that I look for other author experiences. It seems that there might be less of a standard to go by other than some specific myths (those that do overlap.)

I have come to enjoy searching out author comments like this because they all add a little more to rather hazy picture that publishing seems to have become.
