Just wanted to pop up the news that Derby's annual SF, fantasy and horror shindig, Edge-Lit, is coming back for its third installment this year! We're running on the 19th July, and I'm delighted to have JOE ABERCROMBIE and CHARLES STROSS on board as our Guests of Honour for the event!

Derby's annual genre fiction extravaganza returns for a third installment in 2014, once again featuring some of the finest in UK writing talent. Expect a great range of panels, workshops, readings and much more on the day, including the brain-taxing Edge-Lit Quiz, the near-legendary Edge-Lit raffle and a special science-fiction and fantasy instalment of the HOW TO WRITE BADLY WELL comedy show.

EDGE-LIT 3 is the ideal day out for anyone with an interest in reading or writing in the fields of science-fiction, fantasy and horror.
