Caught a bit of this last year, not entirely "SFF" but amazingly priced workshops with publishers and other SFF authors, oh and agents.
I loved their program artwork...

This year they have Matt Haig and Jasper Fforde pulling in the crowds but that wasn't why I thought I'd share.

Something any one in the Lincoln area might want to be aware of is their battle of the genres event.

On 10 May, Simon Scarrow the Historical Author will go head to head with Elly Griffiths representing Crime's corner in a battle of the genres, the crashing of blades will be met with agent John Jarrold defending the mighty honour of Science Fiction and Fantasy.

I'll update as more of the program becomes available. The festival takes place 6- 11 May. More here:
Lincoln Inspired

Tickets are incredibly well priced for workshops, and events as a whole.

Heads up for anyone wishing to venture to the most steampunky-ist place (officially too! the voters said so) in the uk next week.
As well as the above battle of the genres, some other bits you might want to catch.

Encountering a gun-totin’ monkey who flies a Spitfire is quite normal for sci-fi fans. Join leading sci-fi and fantasy authors David Barnett (Gideon Smith and the Mechanical Girl), Mark Charan Newton (Drakenfeld) and Gareth L Powell (Ack-Ack Macaque) in conversation with literary agent John Jarrold.

And on the Saturday, there are those one to one's with John Jarrold, for £2 per 30 minutes. That's worth a little day trip on its own.
