Easy enough game, came to me while watching Star Wars today!
Just like all the other games, you receive a topic from the previous person and write a short 'News just in..." or "Breaking News..." story about the event. Be as creative as you can, and don't feel afraid to be silly. Give a new topic for the next poster. Choose something from Sci-Fi or Fantasy that is pretty well known. I'll get us started...
"Thankyou for joining us on ActionNewsTen at Eleven! To our top story, the Planet Alderaan unexpectedly exploded today. Our chief Alderaan Correspondent Jonax Tar is on the scene...Jonax?"
"Thankyou Bill... Tourists visiting the Alderaan system will be shocked to find the planet now gone. Witnesses on the scene described the planet exploding quite unexpectedly earlier today. Imperial officials cared not to comment, but said that preliminary investigations were well underway. Princess Leia of the ruling House of Alderaan, who had been off world on a diplomatic mission, could not be reached for comment. Several people on the scene were shocked and horrified at the now large dustball encircling the sun. This is the third such planet destruction in recent months, and speculation of a serial planet eater has been widespread on the Holonet. Sources close to the investigation suggested that their suspect is a large robotic planet with Horns that has been roaming around the Universe since the beginning of time. Any witnesses to the explosion are expected to report to the Imperial authorities immediately, and can be reached care of Grand Moff Tarkin's Office. Back to you Bill!"
