A couple of policing questions.

BTW, I know it's not supposed to be relevant in these "enlightened" days, does it make any difference that the armoured figure turns out (during brief interview) to be an unusually tall and strong woman?
 
Nope, no major differences. If a search of her person was necessary then it would be preferable that it be conducted by a female.
