right, i need some french, and as you can probably guess from the subject of this thread, i'm not good at french.

i need to say one of the following (or something similar)

"let's kill him!"

"kill him!"

so far i have: "touez le!" or "tuez le", but i'm pretty sure i'm getting it wrong in terms of who the guys is addressing, which is a group of people, including himself...

anyone know common french? i don't want proper french, but rather what a thug would yell out...

As long as you don't write "Le merde!" (if only because merde is a feminine noun...). ;)

On dira souvent 'Tuez-le!' pour un cri, ou 'Q'on le tue' comme suggestion, pas urgente.

Peut-être 'À la mort' pour une foule, moins commande que suggestion.

Comprehensible?

Comprehensible? Avec Google-Translate, oui...

Interesting that you say "tuez-le", as that's what my (french teacher) fiance thought it was, but wasn't sure if it was hyphenated (as it is in her native Catalan) or not, or whether that was the right language for a "cry"

merci beaucoup

Je t'emprie.

I am not accustomed to racing through the streets of Geneva yelling "Atrappez-le. Tuez-le." (Joints aren't up to it) but that's probably what I'd shout if I were.

Actually, I've never learnt to write French all that well, though I spoke it daily for decades. But I read newspapers, and shooting scripts and songs, so have a basic 'eye' for français (no capital) écrit.
