I had a conversation with a stranger bout Si Fi books while in a bar and cannot remember the name of the book, but he raved bout it. Sid it was told from the point of view of a reporter as well as the actual accounts of a misunderstood space pirate who accidentally destroys a planet and so becomes a feared outlaw. Any thoughts on what that might be? Thanks for your time!

Parts of it sound like Piers Anthony's Bio of a Space Tyrant. Of course parts of it also sound like Lexx which isn't a book at all.
