The second season started recently on Toonami and it's off to a good start. I think this series is a lot of fun. It's genuinely funny and I like the psychedelic artwork. Any one else watching this?

I'm slowly dragging myself through the first series, but I'm not sure what to think - in parts, it's fantastic (the episode with the Gentooan girl is a particular standout, for example), but then it descends into immature humour that really makes me want to turn it off.

I really want to like it, and I feel like I ought to (it's from the guy who did Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo! How can I not like it?). I don't know if I'm even going to finish it.

I sorta gave up on it early. The guy, unfortunately, seems to not know the First Rule of Comedy, he TRIES to be funny. Quentin Tarantino, when asked whether he's ever going to do a comedy, says he feels a little insulted, as he feels he's never made any movie which was entirely serious

These special edition DVD sets are hilarious; Aloha Oe Crew (Amazon exclusive) and Boobies Experience (Funimation.com exclusive).
