Many moons ago I found a used, slightly foxed and badgered book about a high country fisherman who enters a cave in order to escape a storm. The cave contained an alien who crashed and was hiding out. The story is about the alien keeping the fisherman prisoner. Had great 1950ish looking cover art - alien in a fancy space suit and gleaming silver helmet looming menacingly over the fisherman. The book itself disintegrated even after many DIY tape jobs. Would like to find it again for my son to read.
