Fictional Places and Characters That You Wish Were Real.

Oz seems to conform to Victorian moral codes; for example, there is no mention of sexuality at all.

I think it conforms to codes for children's books in the early twentieth century, when the books were written (a bit late for Victorian, which the books aren't at all, I'd say). And if nobody has sex, there is at least an interesting example of gender-bending at the end of The Land of Oz when Tip (most reluctantly) has to transform into Princess Ozma.

The Carpet Kingdom and characters in Clive Barker's Weave World . :) As fantasy worlds and characters this one simply marvelous.

Nift the Lean the master thief / adventurer in Michael Shea's wonderful stories.:)

One person mention Pern another Narnia.
I'm trying to stay with the tread here but make a comment and ask for your POV as well.
I'd love Pern to be real. The books were superb.
I'd hate Narnia to real. The books/ story/ writing/ everything was awful. (I often wonder why I thought those bookd so awful whe so many consider them classics.)

Pellucidar The idea of there being a world at the center of our world is improbable for a number of reasons but, this one place I wish could be real .(y)

Pern, few places leave me feeling more like I would want to visit than Pern.

It is a warm, rosy, benevolent feudalism with just enough adventure wine and dragons to keep it all interesting.

Pretty much most of the worlds from Peter F Hamilton's Commonwealth or Confederation universes.

Id love to see them adapt Hamilton's stuff for either the big or small screen.:)

Not sure about that at all. Oz seems to conform to Victorian moral codes; for example, there is no mention of sexuality at all.
Most children's books have no sex or sexuality.
Many adult books have little or no mention, or only incidental.

It's nothing to do with Victorians.

I'd to go to the Discworld and spend some time with the watch - and walk the streets with Sam.

I'd also like to visit Airhaven from Mortal Engines, sit and have a coffee and watch the coming and goings, then hitch a ride on an Airship using my skills as an aero engieer as passage and follow the bird roads south...

The fire planet, Echronedal in the Player of Games.

An interesting concept of a single continent girdling a planet with an eternal fire circling the globe. The plant and animal life has all adapted to cope with it in different ways, but it’s an interesting concept.

I‘d also like to visit the Chasm City. Wealthy, decadent and cruel.
