Well I've just sat and watched this 90 minute documentary, namely Cosmonauts: How Russia Won The Space Race, to give its full title, and I have to say it was damn fine and excellent. Highly recommended.
Basically a history of the Soviet/Russian manned space program. Loads of interviews with ex-cosmonauts and some great footage.
For those of you in the UK - you can catch it on the BBC iplayer at some point I'm sure. It's going to be on again on BBC4 at 1.50am tomorrow and I think it'll be up on the BBC website after that.
It's not my favourite space documentary of all time - that still has to be the magnum opus that was The Planets - but still very good.
