"Arkham" The scene showing the Arkham Asylum gate looked great. The villain of the week had an interesting weapon. Jada Pinkett Smith making out with that girl was pretty cool as was the cat fight. Other than that I didn't think this episode was particularly interesting.

Yeah, I'm not sure what happened but I wasn't all that interested either. It wasn't bad and I didn't see anything all that different in it (which may be exactly the problem) but it just seemed duller than the others.

I was pretty excited for this show, and thought it had amazing potential, but after four episodes it's just... meh. Uneven. Some of it's not too bad - I like Bullock and Alfred, and Gordon's passable, and actually I think the Penguin, for the most part, works. Everything else is a little camp, or a little silly, or a little stupid. Some terrible writing, a bunch of terrible acting (or overacting, in Jada Pinkett-Smith's case), and a lot of plot holes or poorly thought out plot lines.

I'll keep watching in the hopes that it improves, but I can't help but think this show could have been seriously good in the hands of a HBO or Showtime, rather than on network television.

Oh, also, does anyone know why Jim and Babs live inside a clock? I assume the showrunners just thought it'd look super cool to film through the clock face...
