The rediscovery of Enemy of the World and 5 of the 6 episodes of Web Of Fear was a great event Both excellent serials. :)

What missing episodes and serials would you like to see found ?

What do you think of the Animated reconstructions of missing epodes from Ice Warriors and Invasion? :)

Enemy of the World
This was a bit of an odd one. The leader is a perfect double of the Doctor but this appears to be nothing but a coincidence! In modern Who this would have been examined to the Nth degree by Moffat until he'd spun out a fantastical reason why they look the same and that would be the main plot point!

Web Of Fear
I liked this one. The Yeti are shambling furballs by modern effects standards, but the threat was real and the feeling of being pinned in was palpable.

Not a sonic screwdriver in sight! The Doctor uses an actual screwdriver to build some eletronics :)

I'm happy to see any missing episodes restored. The very old Who is still a bit mysterious for me, there's just so much, and some dubious quality for a modern viewer that I've never really got tuck in. I watched the original "Daleks" with William Hartnell recently, and enjoyed that, even if the takedown of Daleks was quite easy in the end :D

Im hoping they find episode 3 of Web of Fear to complete the serial.

Serial that I would like to see them find complete The Dalek Master Plan :)

Baylor: Have you ever come across the audio versions of these stories? If not, I'd suggest looking them up, as they really do help to get a much better feel for these missing stories. If you aren't familiar with them, they are comprised of the actual audio of the broadcast episodes, taken from tapes done by early fans of the program, and generally with narrative links performed by an actor or actress from the program (Frazer Hines, for instance, did several, while Anneke Wells also has done some). If you are able to combine these with the existing footage (most of which is available either on the various DVDs or even online), you get at least a fair approximation of the experience of watching these.... and yes, this includes The Dalek Master Plan, including the preliminary episode, "Mission to the Unknown"....
